Certified Hypnotist Helps Investors Recover Lost Bitcoin Wallet Passwords

For bitcoin wallet holders who have forgotten their passwords, all may not be as bad as it seems.

At the end of 2017, the value of bitcoin rose to nearly $20,000 for the first time. However, for the countless who have misplaced their passwords making a profit seemed out of reach. Yet, while the cryptocurrency’s value has since fallen in price – it’s currently trading at over $9,200, according to CoinMarketCap – getting access into old wallets may now be possible.

In a report from CNBC’s Make It, certified professional hypnotist Jason Miller is providing the answer.

According to the report, Miller has been providing his services enabling people to reach their goals for the past 20 years. Based in Greenville, North Carolina, Miller first got involved in e-wallet password recovery while working in the financial industry. Then he would conduct hypnosis sessions with day traders or those seeking to plan their financial future.

It is down to these skills that he was able to come up with a program designed to help people recover their lost bitcoin wallet passwords.

He said:

If you’ve got, you know, $100,000, $200,000, $300,000 worth of bitcoin in a wallet and you can’t get access to it, there’s a lot of stress there. So it’s not just as simple as saying, okay, we’re going to go do a 30-minute hypnosis session and enhance your memory.

Miller explains that the program includes up to three password recovery sessions; however, he adds that it can take more than three sessions to achieve the end goal, with no guarantee for a positive result, adding:

You’ve got about a 50 to 80 percent shot at recovering a lost memory.

Notably, though, he states that it’s not up to him to recover lost passwords that a person has forgotten, but the client’s. According to him, a person who has recently created a new password will have an easier time recovering it as will a person who is under low stress compared to an individual who is highly stressed.

While some have questioned the effectiveness of hypnosis, Miller is clear when he says that he stands by work, saying:

Hypnosis isn’t a magical state. Hypnosis is simply utilizing trance as a resource for enhanced learning. Hypnosis is not comparable to sleep. Really, you just feel like you’re sitting in your chair listening to me talk. You go very, very deeply into trance, but you’re still aware.
