Mike Tyson, the well-known boxing legend seems to have entered the bitcoin industry with a new range of bitcoin ATMs. The news became public after he tweeted about the impending launch of Mike Tyson Bitcoin a couple of days ago.
Mike Tyson tweeted the link to the website – MikeTysonBitcoin.com , which was immediately picked up by most of the bitcoin news sites. The webpage puts the launch of Mike Tyson Bitcoin ATM sometime later next month. The website claims that the users will be able to use this new bitcoin ATMs to buy bitcoin in less than 20 seconds, which is still fasted than the fastest knockout he has in his credit. Mike Tyson’s personal best when it comes to knockouts stands at 30 seconds, which is still 10 seconds slower than the speed of these new ATMs.
A close look at the website shows that Mike Tyson Bitcoin is connected with Bitcoin Direct LLC, a company involved in installing and servicing bitcoin ATMs. It is still not clear about whether Mike Tyson has partnered with Bitcoin Direct LLC to start a self-branded Bitcoin ATM venture or he is endorsing Bitcoin Direct’s bitcoin ATM offering.
Mike Tyson, born June 30, 1966 is a multiple records holder in the boxing arena. He was the youngest boxer to win WBC, IBF and WBA titles and he also has 44 knock outs in his credit. Out of 58 fights, he has won 50 of them and he is also the only person in boxing history to regain WBC title after he was stripped of it. His boxing style gave him he nicknames Iron Mike and Kid Dynamite.
