The past few days have been pretty exciting for XRP holders. After Ripple announced the supply lockup, it seems the market responded in a positive manner. The big question on everyone’s mind is whether or not this momentum will last or not. Some people think the price will keep rising, although that may be difficult to achieve moving forward. We are still inching closer toward that $2 XRP price prediction, though.
Cryptocurrency has always been a very unusual industry. That only got reaffirmed earlier this week when all currencies went up in value spectacularly. Ripple’s native asset has been of the currencies enjoying a recent price increase. More specifically, the value more than doubled in just a few days, and it seems the momentum is not over yet. This may very well be the first step toward reaching that expected $2 price target in 2018. The XRP price is not something that should be overlooked whatsoever.
Bullish XRP Price Momentum is Remarkable
Although no one knows what the future holds, things are looking pretty good. Investinghaven recently reported on how the market is poised for major growth. They are quite bullish on Ripple and everything it stands for. Their efforts have not gone by unnoticed even though this is not a traditional cryptocurrency. That said, the XRP price is largely determined by its value related to other cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin. Right now, the momentum is clearly swinging in Ripple’s favor.
It is expected the XRP price rise will continue for quite some time to come. The digital asset “broke out” after a lengthy period of accumulation by various investors and speculators. While this is normal, it also shows a bullish trend had to occur sooner or later. No one knows how high the XRP price will go in the near few days and weeks, though. Given the industry this digital asset is targeting, anything is possible. Especially if the Bitcoin price keeps going sideways.
Anyone who invested in XRP will be happy with the current results. Although their portfolio value in BTC has declined a lot, the USD value has soared. It is all about patience, even in the world of cryptocurrencies and digital assets. Patience will always be rewarded, even though it may take a while. For now, the XRP price is in a very good place, and big things may continue to happen in the future. Only time will tell whether or not this momentum is sustainable.
