The vandalized farms of Bitcoin Banco are auctioned off at R4.4 million in order to recover the defrauded investors.
Three rural farms associated with Brazil’s infamous Bitcoin Banco scam shall be auctioned. The justice system anticipates collecting more than R4 million, even after the properties have been grossly vandalized.
Bitcoin Banco, owned by Clēudio Oliveira, the Brazilian banker, also called the Bitcoin King, defrauded a myriad of investors in Brazil. In 2021, after a Federal Police operation named Daemon, the seizures of the property of the leaders of the scheme were carried out by the police.
These include the luxurious farms that surround Curitiba in Paraguay and are to be sold judicially in Paraná State.

The auction includes three farms of roughly 12.79 hectares with high-standard constructions, forest reserves, and access to rivers. Buyers cannot purchase the farms singly, and because of individual property registration, they must buy them collectively.
The liquidation is overseen by the 26th Civil and Business Court of Curitiba in the bankruptcy case of Bitcurrency Moedas Digitais. The initial price of the united lots is R4466000 regardless of the vandalism and neglect.
Legislation entails the need to protect environmental areas like permanent preservation zones along the river and legal reserves in the farms. Consumers have to be aware of these responsibilities, and they cannot say they are not aware.
The majority of the buildings experience massive damage and deterioration. The sellers will sell them in their current state, and the new owner will handle any repair or demolition. The property is lying empty now.
What Is Left out in the Wake of the Scam?
The primary building is approximately 700 square meters, and it has two floors of high-quality masonry and porcelain floors. It has facilities such as a pool, a wine cellar, and several suites. The interior is, however, severely damaged and requires a lot of repairs.
The other structures comprise a one-floor event hall of about 180 square meters that also has grave interior damage. Its swimming pool which is almost 60 square meters, is in a bad condition requiring regular maintenance.
There are two guest houses, which are rational in nature and need a lot of maintenance. There are also other facilities, such as the house of a caretaker and stables, which are in poor condition and require serious repairs.
There are a few wooden outbuildings (greenhouses, kiosks) that are in an extremely bad condition and have no commercial use. People have abandoned the scheme for years since it was exposed.
This sale is after the previous liquidation of assets, such as the sale of the Lamborghini of Oliveira under the watch of the police. The current sales are attempts to reimburse investors who lost their money on one of the biggest cryptocurrency fraudsters in Brazil.
