Blockchain And Coinify Facilitate The Process Of Acquiring Bitcoin

Bitcoin Black Friday Deals Spread as Currency Hits Yearly Low

Coinfiy and Blockchain.info have struck a strategic partnership to make wallet funding a lot easier and quicker. In fact, it will be able to instantaneously fund a Blockchain.info wallet, without completing transactions in a less secure environment. Users and their data will still be protected, and leave the customer in full control of all aspects of the operation.

Coinify Teams Up With Blockchain.info

It has to be said, Blockchain.info remains the most popular bitcoin wallet service provider to date. By offering a mobile and web wallet, they attract a lot of customers from all over the world. To put this into numbers, the company holds over 50% market share in the Bitcoin wallet industry today. Moreover, they also completed over 100 million transactions recently, indicating their service is appreciated by many.

For Coinify, venturing in the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency world has been a success as well. Rather than being a traditional exchange, Coinify focuses on helping customers accept blockchain payments in 14 different cryptocurrencies. The company also provides a trading option, which can be funded with credit cards or a bank account transfer.

Blockchain CEO Peter Smith explained the partnership as follows:

“Digital currencies and peer-to-peer transaction networks have the potential to modernize a financial system that is currently failing over a third of the global population,. This announcement represents a giant step forward in making bitcoin, still a nascent currency, a more compelling and efficient financial solution for new users.”

Many people still struggle with the idea of acquiring Bitcoin through exchange platforms or other services. Not only is it difficult to grasp for some investors, but the process of registering and verifying an account can be tedious as well. Additionally, there are high fees involved, and settlement of transactions can take days. Through this new partnership between Blockchain and Coinify, that process becomes a lot more convenient and faster.

Improving the user experience will eventually boost global cryptocurrency adoption. Blockchain is building multiple localised onramps to focus on an improved experience. Coinify is just the first of multiple partners to be announced over the coming months. For now, this new feature is only available to residents in the UK, but it will roll out to the rest of Europe over time.
