- Byreal testnet launches June 2025 on Solana.
- Hybrid DEX blends CEX liquidity with DeFi transparency.
- Features include RFQ, CLMM, and low-slippage trades.
Bybit has announced that it will follow up with an introduction of Byreal, a hybrid decentralised exchange (DEX) operating on the Solana blockchain. Bybit will deploy the testnet no later than the end of June 2025 and plans to launch the mainnet in the third quarter. This move marks Bybit’s initial step into the DeFi ecosystem, leveraging Solana’s ability to enable quick, low-cost transactions.
The exchange will allow the transparency of DeFi to the liquidity of centralized exchanges. Byreal designed the platform to make the trading process more efficient and safer for both retail and institutional users.
Innovative Features Power Byreal’s Debut
Byreal introduces a unique approach to trading. It is a combination of request-for-quote (RFQ) systems and concentrated liquidity market makers (CLMM) systems. The technologies provide low-slippage trades and miner extractable value attacks guarantee.
A shared pool of liquidity (which connects the centralized and decentralized assets) has also been incorporated into the platform. The aim of such an arrangement is to make trading more convenient, however, with on-chain visibility. One of the greatest advantages of the Solana infrastructure is that it should give people the speed of transactions, which would be almost instantaneous.
It is a new on-chain liquidity network that delivers the future generation of assets in which the true value is displayed, identified, and transferred with transparency. The purpose of Byreal is underlined in a social media post on X.
Strategic Timing and Market Impact
Increasing interest in Solana’s ecosystem is aligned with the debut of the product. Bybit has been paying more attention to core trading infrastructure, and the testnet release of Byreal on June 30, 2025, follows a pattern. It is a shift after the exchange cut its Web3 efforts earlier this year.
Byreal intends to challenge other services in the DEX market, such as Uniswap and Raydium. Through its hybrid model, it is expected to solve the problem of liquidity fragmentation that exists in DeFi. It will be tested with the launch of the mainnet in Q3 2025 to accept sustainable user adoption.
In the year 2025, the Solana network, which has zero percent downtime, is capable of supporting 65,000 transactions per second. This capability underpins Byreal’s promise of efficient, cost-effective trading.
Byreal will expand its business further and will incorporate yield vaults and even fair token distribution systems. In the Reset Launch system, the Smart pricing system will be utilized to grant equitable distributions of tokens, which will eliminate the whale influence to a minimum.
Bybit’s integration of this into the already established infrastructure implies that there will be easy access for the already existing users. This connection may drive adoption, and it would result in the merging of traditional and decentralized finance.
