BXE will burn 5 million tokens on April 1 in the largest single burn on the XRP Ledger as its decentralized media network expands.
The XRPL-based token BXE is preparing for a large token burn scheduled for April 1.
The project confirmed that 5 million BXE tokens will be permanently removed from circulation.
The burn will occur in a single transaction on the XRP Ledger. The team says the event is part of ongoing technical testing and network expansion efforts connected to decentralized media development.
Planned Burn Event on the XRP Ledger
BXE operates on the XRP Ledger and focuses on decentralized media services.
The project announced that 5 million tokens will be burned in one transaction. The burn is planned for April 1 and will be executed directly on-chain.
According to the project statement, this will be the largest single burn transaction conducted by the token so far.
Token burns permanently remove tokens from circulation. This reduces the available supply recorded on the network.
The total supply of BXE is about 470 million tokens. After the burn, the circulating amount will decrease accordingly. The burn process is transparent and will be visible on the XRP Ledger.
🚨 Important: The largest single‑transaction burn by the $XRPL decentralized media token BXE is scheduled for April 1st!
This could create significant pressure on XRP infrastructure while sharply increasing the XRP burn rate.

Project representatives said the burn is also part of testing the network’s ability to process large transactions. The team is examining how infrastructure handles increased activity during such events.
Connection to Decentralized Media Coverage
The burn will take place alongside the launch of the project’s Live Decentralized Media Coverage Program.
This initiative aims to support real time reporting using blockchain based payments.
The platform allows journalists to publish content while receiving compensation in BXE tokens. Payments are processed through the XRP Ledger and settle quickly on-chain.
The project reports that more than 414 journalists have joined the network so far. Participants can submit news coverage and receive direct token payments.
The system removes traditional intermediaries from the payment process.
WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE LARGEST SINGLE TOKEN BURN ON THE XRP LEDGER TO DATE, WITH 5 MILLION BXE TOKENS SCHEDULED TO BE PERMANENTLY BURNED ON APRIL 1ST.

Project representatives also stated that the expansion effort includes collaboration with a global search engine provider.
The goal is to expand decentralized media distribution to a broader international audience.

Market Activity and Token Availability
BXE tokens currently trade near $0.02 on several digital asset platforms. Trading activity occurs on exchanges including MEXC and the XMagnetic decentralized exchange.
Both platforms support BXE trading pairs connected to the XRP Ledger ecosystem.
The upcoming burn will reduce the available token supply on the network.
Supply adjustments through burn events are common among blockchain-based projects. They are usually recorded publicly through blockchain transactions.
The April 1 transaction will be visible on the XRP Ledger once completed. Network participants will be able to verify the burn through public ledger data.
BXE developers stated that the event forms part of ongoing infrastructure testing.
The project continues to expand its decentralized media program while integrating blockchain based payments for contributors.
