BitTorrent Token (BTT) Price Holds, New Exchange Listing On The Way

The price of BitTorrent Token (BTT) has remained relatively unchanged throughout the last 24 hours despite the market-wide pullback. Listing on Bittrex exchange is on the way.

BTT Price Holds

The last 24 hours have seen the entire cryptocurrency market experience a notable leg down, losing over $2 billion on the day.

Major cryptocurrencies are all marking slight decreases ranging between 2 and 4 percent. However, the price of BitTorrent Token (BTT) managed to stay relatively unchanged, holding gains accumulated over the past week following its ICO.

At the time of writing this, BTT trades at $0.0010, which is about 10x the price per token during the initial coin offering held on Binance Launchpad.

The ICO was held on January 28th and it sold all the 59.4 billion BTT in less than 15 minutes. The event raised a total of $7,128,000 million.

In the week following the event, BTT price surged, following numerous exchange listings on major venues such as Binance, OKEx, KuCoin, and others.

Bittrex Exchange Listing Incoming

According to an official announcement, BTT is about to be opened for trading on Bittrex.

Bittrex is a US-based cryptocurrency exchange which launched back in 2014. Data from CoinMarketCap reveals that the venue is handling a daily trading volume of about $20 million.

It’s important to outline that listing updates of the kind tend to be a precursor of the prices growing. If anything, BTT has managed to grow following the numerous exchange listings throughout the past week.

In another important update, BitTorrent recently announced that one of the platform’s key features – BitTorrent Speed, is likely to be launched in the second quarter of 2019. This will enable platform users to bid BTT tokens for faster downloads on the client.
