Securitize Launches HINC as Neuberger’s First Tokenized Fund

- HINC brings Neuberger’s high-yield fixed-income strategy onto four blockchains.
- The fund targets high-yield bonds, CLOs, and leveraged loans for eligible investors.
- Neuberger’s HINC role marks its first subadvisor position in a tokenized fund.
Securitize has launched HINC with Neuberger Berman, bringing an actively managed fixed-income strategy onto public blockchains for eligible investors. The fund will primarily target high-yield bonds, while also allowing exposure to collateralized loan obligations and leveraged loans.
Securitize Brings HINC to Four Blockchains
Securitize announced the launch on August 18, introducing the Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund (HINC). The fund will issue tokenized interests across Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, and Sui, giving qualified investors access through four networks.
Neuberger will serve as HINC’s subadvisor and manage the underlying investment strategy using its established fixed-income capabilities. Its fixed-income platform oversees more than $230 billion, while the broader firm manages approximately $613 billion across multiple asset classes.
Securitize Capital will serve as the investment adviser, while Securitize Markets will distribute fund interests to eligible investors.
Meanwhile, affiliated Securitize entities will provide issuance, transfer agency, administration, and other tokenization services for the fund.
Carlos Domingo, Securitize’s co-founder and CEO, said HINC brings Neuberger’s fixed-income capabilities onto public blockchains through regulated infrastructure.
“Launching HINC across Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana and Sui gives eligible investors access through four leading blockchain networks”.
However, HINC remains restricted to qualified participants despite being represented across public blockchain networks.
Investors must qualify as accredited investors or qualified purchasers and complete required onboarding, including KYC/AML checks. Access will also depend on jurisdictional requirements and applicable securities laws, limiting participation compared with unrestricted cryptocurrency assets.

HINC Expands Tokenized Credit Exposure
HINC extends institutional tokenization beyond cash equivalents and government securities into higher-yielding credit markets. Its investment mandate includes high-yield corporate bonds, collateralized loan obligations, and leveraged loans, although allocation targets were not disclosed.
Neuberger’s participation marks its first role as subadvisor to a tokenized fund, adding established fixed-income expertise to blockchain-based investment infrastructure. Founded in 1939, the investment manager remains privately held and employee-owned, with operations spanning global financial markets.
Securitize has also expanded its tokenized asset business, with approximately $4.96 billion in distributed asset value across 26 tokenized real-world assets. Its platform includes products associated with major institutions such as BlackRock and Apollo, reflecting broader institutional adoption of blockchain-based funds.
The HINC launch further demonstrates how asset managers are using multiple blockchains to distribute regulated investment products.
Securitize shares reportedly rose around 5% following the announcement, giving the company an estimated $838 million market capitalization. Even so, the stock remained more than 50% below levels recorded shortly after its July public debut.
