- New restrictions expand earlier August compliance actions across platforms.
Binance will stop processing transactions involving 11 crypto platforms beginning August 23 following recent regulatory developments. The move expands earlier restrictions introduced this month and reinforces the exchange’s compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
Binance Expands Compliance Restrictions Across Multiple Platforms
Binance announced that transactions involving 11 crypto platforms will no longer be processed after August 23 this year. The affected entities include HTX, EXMO, Rapira, Aifory Pro, ABCeX, WhiteBird, NoOnecrypto, Tradex, Monease, BitPapa, and Exnode.
According to Binance, users should avoid sending funds directly or indirectly through these platforms after restrictions begin. Any transactions attempted after the effective date may be held for compliance reviews and additional verification.
The exchange stated that affected wallets could face temporary restrictions while investigations and regulatory checks remain ongoing. Binance added that transactions involving listed entities may violate its Terms of Use under certain circumstances.
The latest measures follow earlier restrictions introduced during August against several other crypto service providers. Shelbit and Aban Tether Exchange became subject to restrictions on August 7 following regulatory actions announced earlier.
Meanwhile, A7 Nigeria, A7 Africa, and PilotFinance Ltd were added to Binance’s restricted list on August 13. The exchange said these actions support compliance requirements and help maintain a secure trading environment.

HTX and Other Platforms Face Growing Regulatory Pressure
Several platforms affected by Binance’s latest restrictions have recently faced regulatory scrutiny from international authorities. HTX, formerly known as Huobi, has attracted significant attention from regulators across multiple jurisdictions recently.
The platform appeared in the European Union’s latest sanctions package targeting entities linked to Russia-related activities. Those measures introduced transaction restrictions against several crypto platforms and financial service providers operating internationally.
Additionally, British authorities designated Huobi Global earlier this year under sanctions connected to alleged Russian support activities. UK regulators later clarified that HTX falls within those restrictions because of ownership-related considerations.
Other platforms listed by Binance have also appeared in recent sanctions and compliance enforcement discussions globally. For instance, Shelbit and Aban Tether Exchange were targeted by United States authorities during August.
Binance emphasized that the restrictions reflect evolving regulatory obligations rather than operational issues involving customer assets. The exchange said compliance with applicable laws remains necessary for maintaining secure and regulated market participation.
Overall, the decision highlights increasing regulatory pressure across the cryptocurrency sector as authorities strengthen oversight of digital asset services.
