What to send
The tips we can act on fastest are the ones we can verify. You do not need the whole story — just enough for us to start pulling the thread.
Helps a lot
- A clear summary of what happened, and why it matters
- Dates, names and figures wherever you have them
- Links to official announcements, filings or on-chain transactions
- Anything that lets us check the claim independently

- Rumours presented as established fact
- Price predictions or investment solicitations
- Promotional material — those belong on the press release form
- Anything you are not legally free to share
Announcing a launch, raise or partnership? That is a press release — use the form on the contact page instead.
Staying anonymous
Name and email are optional. Leave them blank and the tip reaches us with no identifying details attached — there is no separate anonymous mode to find.
Two things worth knowing before you send something sensitive:
- Without contact details we cannot come back to you for verification, which can be the difference between a story running and not running.
- This is an ordinary web form over HTTPS. It is not anonymous at the network level, and no browser-based submission can be. If your safety depends on it, use a channel built for that instead.
We protect confidential sources as far as the law allows, and we do not publish identifying details without agreement.
What happens next
- 01 An editor reads it Everything submitted is reviewed. Most tips are read within a day.
- 02 We try to verify it That means checking claims against public sources, and often contacting the organisations involved.
- 03 We only reply if we are running it Submitting a tip does not guarantee publication, and we cannot reply to everything. Please do not follow up.
