-

CiDi Games beta on Pi reached 81K users in 160+ countries, with 1.2M sessions and 3.19M Pi staked in one week.

CiDi Games reached more than 81,000 users across over 160 countries within one week of its beta launch on Pi.

The app launched on May 14 through the Pi Browser. It added new gaming activity to the Pi ecosystem and showed early demand for Pi-based apps.

CiDi Games Beta Launch Draws Global Pi Users

CiDi Games launched its beta app as an instant-access HTML5 gaming platform. Users could access the platform through the Pi Browser without a separate download.

The beta version started with 10 games across several categories. These included casual, puzzle, idle, action, and competitive games.

The app also included tournaments and player progression features.

According to Pi Network, the app reached over 81,000 Pioneers in less than one week.

These users came from more than 160 countries and regions. Pi Network described the activity as organic.

The company said the launch was not driven by promotion from its official accounts.

Users found and used the app through the Pi ecosystem. This gave the platform early traction without paid user acquisition.

Game Sessions And Community Staking Show Activity

The beta launch generated more than 1.2 million game sessions in its first week. This figure showed repeated use from players across the network.

CiDi Games also attracted over 21,000 competition and tournament participants. These tournaments added a skill-based layer to the platform.

They also gave users more reasons to return. The platform includes CiDiScore, which tracks player progress across the app.

It also offers the Pi ELF companion experience and Elf Continent. These features connect gameplay with identity and community use.

CiDi Games also saw activity in Pi Ecosystem Directory Staking. Its ranking was boosted by 3.19 million Pi in total. Most of this amount came from community staking.

Pi Ecosystem Offers Built-In Distribution For Apps

According to the announcement, CiDi Games is a Pi Network Ventures portfolio company.

The platform gives Pioneers another way to use Pi through gaming. It also provides infrastructure for developers building Pi-integrated games.

Directory Staking is an optional feature in the Pi ecosystem. It lets Pioneers and businesses support apps they use or create.

It also gives developers a public signal of user interest. The CiDi Games beta launch showed how apps can reach users inside Pi.

The app launched into an ecosystem with users, access tools, and distribution already available.

As AI tools lower the cost of app creation, user access may become more important.

Ecosystems with active users may offer a path to early testing. CiDi Games remains in beta, so future growth will depend on user retention and platform updates.
