Ethereum 25x Long Adds Fuel to an Already High-Risk Crypto Position
Hyperliquid becomes more decentralized after HYPE redelegation; traders track HYPE $52-$53 support and ETH $1,625.
James Wynn’s new Ethereum 25x long position has added fresh risk to an already leveraged crypto setup, as his Bitcoin 40x long remains close to liquidation.
According to trading details shared, the BTC position shows a floating profit of $5.1K, yet its liquidation price sits near $59,841.13.
Ethereum Long Adds More Leverage Risk
Wynn opened a small ETH long position with 25x leverage, based on the reported trading update.
The move comes as Ethereum trades near a short-term resistance area on the ETH-USDC 15-minute chart.
The Ethereum chart shows a price near $1,611 after a recovery from lower levels. ETH had fallen from the upper $1,880 area to around $1,510–$1,520 before finding support.
The broader short-term trend remains weak, as ETH formed lower highs and lower lows. Sellers gained control during the drop through the $1,680 and $1,640 zones.
ETH has since built a base between $1,540 and $1,590. A move above $1,600 has given buyers room to test resistance near $1,615 to $1,625.
Bitcoin Position Remains Near Liquidation
Wynn’s BTC 40x long position remains open, according to the same trading details. The position shows a floating profit of $5.1K, but risk remains high.
The reported liquidation level is $59,841.13. That leaves little room for price weakness, especially during sharp moves in crypto markets.
James Wynn seems bullish.
He opened a new small $ETH (25x) long position and is still holding his $BTC (40x) long position, with a floating profit of $5.1K – but very close to the liquidation price of $59,841.13.https://t.co/uFdsQP8ozW pic.twitter.com/jQyGZ9IqcN

High leverage can raise both gains and losses. It can also force quick exits when price moves against the position.
The added Ethereum trade increases Wynn’s total exposure across major crypto assets. Bitcoin and Ethereum often move together during broad market swings.
If BTC turns lower, pressure could spread across leveraged long positions. If buyers defend nearby levels, the positions may remain active.

ETH-USDC Faces Resistance Near $1,625
The ETH-USDC 15-minute chart shows a rebound attempt after a clear downtrend. Price is now testing an area where sellers may return.
Support sits near $1,590 to $1,600. Holding this zone may keep the short-term recovery in place.
A stronger support area is near $1,540 to $1,560. ETH spent time there after the selloff, and buyers defended that range.
Resistance is now seen near $1,615 to $1,625. A clean move above that zone could send ETH toward $1,640.
The next larger resistance area sits near $1,680 to $1,700. That level was part of the earlier breakdown zone.

Trading volume rose during the selloff, which showed strong selling activity. The rebound has used lighter volume so far.
This means the recovery is not fully confirmed. Traders may watch for stronger buying volume above $1,625.
HYPE also faces short-term pressure after losing trendline support. However, its long-term structure remains above major EMAs.
Market analysts are tracking the $52 to $53 HYPE zone. That area may decide whether buyers regain control soon.
For now, Ethereum’s 25x long adds more risk to Wynn’s crypto exposure. The setup remains tied to support, resistance, and liquidation levels.
