Bitcoin ETFs neared $1B in seven days, but inflows slowed sharply as BTC slipped below the $66,000 mark.
U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds kept their inflow streak alive on July 22, although buying slowed sharply from earlier in the week. Net inflows reached $69.1 million, marking a seventh straight session of positive creations after nearly $1 billion entered the products over the run. At the same time, Bitcoin slipped back below $66,000 during Thursday trading, reflecting a calmer market after recent gains. Fund flows remained positive, but the pace suggested institutions turned more cautious after two stronger sessions.
Seven Straight Inflow Days Push Bitcoin ETF Total Near $1 Billion
Data from SoSoValue showed U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $68.9 million in net inflows on July 22. While the result extended the current streak to seven consecutive trading days, it was far smaller than Monday’s $226.8 million and Tuesday’s $203.2 million.
Momentum returned after a sharp $424.7 million net outflow recorded on July 13. Since then, ETFs have posted daily inflows of $181.1 million, $107.7 million, $79.1 million, $132.3 million, $226.8 million, $203.2 million, and finally $69.1 million. Combined, those seven sessions brought roughly $999 million into the products.

Wednesday’s figures also revealed a different pattern across issuers. BlackRock’s IBIT remained the largest contributor with $38.78 million in inflows. Fidelity’s FBTC followed with $21.5 million, while Bitwise’s BITB added $5.4 million. Morgan Stanley’s Bitcoin ETF contributed another $3.8 million.
Grayscale’s products moved in opposite directions. Its lower-fee Mini Bitcoin Trust attracted $37.9 million in fresh capital. Meanwhile, the older GBTC fund recorded $38.3 million in redemptions. Those nearly offsetting moves left Grayscale with little net contribution despite continued investor interest in its newer product.
Ethereum Trades Steady as Investors Await the Next ETF Flow Update
Ethereum traded with less movement during the same period. ETH changed hands near $1,930, compared with Wednesday’s settled close of $1,933.70. Both assets still had several hours before the daily session closed at 00:00 UTC.
Market sentiment also weakened slightly, as the Crypto Fear & Greed Index slipped to 31 from 33 a day earlier, keeping the market firmly in the “Fear” zone. Although conditions improved from the recent Extreme Fear reading of 25, investor confidence has yet to recover alongside Bitcoin’s recent price rebound.
Attention now turns to whether ETF demand can stay positive after inflows cooled below the $100 million mark. Another green session would extend the streak, but traders will also watch whether daily creations regain the stronger pace seen earlier in the week.
