Airbitz App Makes Having Coffee More Pleasurable

-

How to get more people to adopt bitcoin and encourage them to pay for goods and services with the digital currency? Offers and additional benefits have always worked for new products and companies. Now Airbitz has adopted the same strategy in the United States with one of the most ‘American’ chain of coffee shops.

Airbitz, a company that specialized in bitcoin and blockchain security has introduced an offer where bitcoin users can get 20 percent discount on coffee whenever they pay with bitcoin at Starbucks. Similar discounts can be availed at Target supermarket chain and Whole foods as well. The whole reason behind the promotion drive is to inboard more customers on the platform and drive bitcoin adoption. The offer utilizes the recently added features on Airbitz application, powered by Fold.

Airbitz has recently integrated Fold into their application which can be used to buy vouched and gift cards. In order to avail discounts at Starbucks, Target and Whole Foods, users will have to buy the vouchers on Airbitz application using bitcoin and redeem it at the store.  The company is also promoting this offer by employing a lot of people to hand out fliers containing relevant information in front of Starbucks outlets. The promotional campaign is expected to go on for few weeks, so next time while you are at Starbucks, don’t get surprised to see people dressed as baristas handing out fliers in front of the outlet as thy might be the ones employed by Airbitz to promote their application.

Airbitz already has Glidera integrated into their application to facilitate bitcoin buying and selling. By targeting Starbucks customers and offering them value in the form of discounts, Airbitz can effectively garner interest about bitcoin among people and aim to get more users onboard.
