  • Exodus Markets offers one-tap access to 200+ tokenized stocks and ETFs directly on Solana.
  • Ondo Finance powers the tokenization layer behind Exodus’ new retail trading marketplace.
  • Exodus became the first publicly traded company to tokenize its own stock back in 2021.

The Exodus Movement, Inc., has collaborated with Ondo Finance in bringing the tokenized stock trading service directly to its wallet application.

This innovative service will enable eligible users to trade on over 200 tokenized stocks, ETFs, and real-world assets through its Exodus Markets service.

Through this partnership, the platform has expanded its offering beyond the services offered by cryptocurrency wallets.

Tokenized Stock Trading Goes Live on the Exodus Platform

Exodus Markets gives users the ability to trade tokenized equities without switching to a separate platform. All transactions settle on Solana, keeping the experience within the existing Exodus interface.

The one-tap trading feature is designed to lower the barrier for retail users entering tokenized finance. Asset availability remains subject to local regulatory conditions depending on a user’s region.

The product launch builds on Exodus’ long-standing position in the self-custodial space. The company became the first publicly traded firm to tokenize its own stock in 2021.

That move placed Exodus among the earliest corporate adopters of equity tokenization. Exodus Markets now extends that history into a consumer-facing trading product.

CEO JP Richardson connected the launch to a wider shift in retail access to financial markets. “Tokenized stocks are one of the most important developments in modern finance,” Richardson said.

He added that customers can now “trade and hold tokenized equities with the same direct control and global access they expect from crypto.” The platform is built to serve as a single entry point for both crypto holdings and tokenized traditional assets.

The 200-plus asset catalog covers a broad range of tokenized stocks and ETFs at launch. Customers can also trade EXOD, Exodus’ own tokenized stock, directly through Exodus Markets.

The selection reflects Ondo Finance’s existing tokenized asset infrastructure brought to a retail audience. Additional assets may become available as the platform expands into more regions.

Ondo Finance Infrastructure Powers the Tokenized Trading Experience

Ondo Finance brings the tokenization framework that makes the Exodus Markets catalog possible.

The firm connects traditional financial instruments to blockchain settlement rails through its tokenization layer.

That infrastructure allows stocks and ETFs to trade on-chain within the Exodus app. The partnership gives Exodus a proven technical foundation without building that layer independently.

Ondo Finance CEO Ian De Bode identified Exodus’ established user base as the central reason for the collaboration. “Exodus has one of the largest self-custodial audiences in crypto and they’ve spent years building the trust to bring people into tokenized finance,” De Bode said.

He described the partnership as a model for how tokenized markets reach scale. “This is how tokenized markets scale, by integrating with the products people already use to manage their money,” De Bode added.

The collaboration follows a growing pattern where tokenized real-world assets are shifting from institutional pilots toward retail distribution.

Platforms with large, trusted user bases are emerging as the primary channel for this transition.

Exodus Markets fits that model by embedding tokenized stock trading into a familiar self-custodial app. Reducing friction at the point of access remains the central design principle.

Customers should understand that tokenized assets differ from owning the referenced securities directly. They carry no shareholder rights or voting privileges tied to the underlying company.

The assets track price performance on-chain without granting equity ownership in the traditional sense. Regulatory eligibility governs which instruments are accessible based on a user’s location.
