Treasure DAO Proposes Migration from Arbitrum to ZKsync

-

Treasure DAO, a prominent player in Web3 gaming on the Arbitrum network, has proposed migrating its gaming ecosystem to ZKsync. This proposal suggests that ZKsync might be better suited to support Treasure DAO’s future objectives in the decentralized gaming sector.

From the information released on Thursday, it was stated that the vote on the proposal is expected to commence on September 17. In case of proposal approval, Treasure DAO will move the company’s Web3 gaming platform from Arbitrum to ZKsync. The current plan focuses on integrating ZKsync’s superior technology set within its blockchain rather than the Arbitrum Orbit that has been proposed before. This is to be followed by the mainnet launch on ZKsync, which is planned for mid-November and is subject to approval.

Treasure DAO to Test New Solutions on ZKsync Before Mainnet Launch

In the meantime, the new solutions will be implemented on ZKsync’s testnet before the main network upgrade from the current Arbitrum testnet. As mentioned earlier, the Treasure DAO team does not vote on matters concerning the project’s governance in most cases; they rely on the community.

This decision was made through consultation within the firm’s internal structures, taking into account Treasure DAO’s future vision. Even though the core team has been developing a relationship with Arbitrum, they have realized that ZKsync’s technology venture might align more with their vision of a decentralized gaming platform.

Karel Vuong, the co-founder of Treasure DAO, said they realized that as they developed their own L2 solution, ZKsync was more suitable for creating a gaming platform with greater accessibility.

Regarding the migration, PowerDAO is now focusing on the approval to be given by the Treasure DAO community.
