Valhalla Partners with Cricket Sixes for Blockchain Innovation

-

Valhalla partners with the Hong Kong International Cricket Sixes, showcasing blockchain innovation in sports during this exciting tournament from November 1-3.

Valhalla, Floki’s PlayToEarn MMORPG blockchain game, has partnered with the Hong Kong International Cricket Sixes. This collaboration marks the tournament’s highly anticipated return after a seven-year break. Scheduled from November 1 to November 3, the event will showcase top international teams in a fast-paced cricket format at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground.

The Cricket Sixes was started in 1992 and has received much attention from the public. Over the years, the tournament has been lucky to have some of cricket’s legends, such as Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Shane Warne, and Sanath Jayasuriya. Therefore, Valhalla’s participation is evidence that competitive sports are becoming integrated with blockchain gaming.

The leader of Valhalla, Mr. Brown Whale, also sounded optimistic about the cooperation. They are glad to be associated with the Hong Kong International Cricket Sixes. He mentioned that the enthusiasm and vigor of this extraordinary occasion align with our goal of innovation and togetherness in gaming. In this partnership, the intention is to attract cricket fans. At the same time, it shows how PlayToEarn technology can improve fun and rivalry.

Partnership Highlights Blockchain Role in Sports and Gaming

Star Sports Network will air the tournament worldwide. The matches can be watched in India on Fancode, one of the country’s biggest sports over-the-top streaming platforms. This extensive coverage will deliver the action to a wider public and deepen the relationship between sports and games.

Another aspect of visibility that will be important on-site is branding. These features will include ground perimeter boards, the mid-wicket logo mats, and any other backdrop used during the presentation. Such branding efforts ensure that both Valhalla and the Cricket Sixes are visible many times during the tournament.

This year, the event will have twelve teams, which will be grouped into four groups, making it more competitive. Group C will feature India with Robin Uthappa and Kedar Jadhav, which will compete with Pakistan and UAE. Group A includes New Zealand, South Africa, and the host country, Hong Kong. Moreover, group B includes England, Australia, and Nepal, while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Oman are in Group D.

Ultimately, the top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals, with 29 matches set to unfold over three action-packed days. This exciting partnership not only enhances the tournament experience but also highlights the potential of blockchain technology in bridging sports and gaming.
