4.35M MORPHO Exit Exchanges as Whale Activity Reaches Multi-Month Peak

By Samuel

Morpho whale activity surges to a multi-month high, with 4.35M MORPHO leaving exchanges and hinting at much lighter sell pressure.

Morpho whale activity just hit its strongest pace in months.

On-chain data shows a sudden burst of large transactions moving across the network. New wallets are forming at a rate not seen in weeks.

At the same time, a large chunk of MORPHO tokens is leaving exchanges. The timing lines up with a fresh wave of listings, product launches, and funding news.

Morpho Whale Transactions Surge to Multi-Month High

Santiment reported 68 transactions worth over $100,000 in a single day. That is the highest count recorded since October 2, 2025. The spike suggests larger holders are repositioning quickly rather than waiting on the sidelines.

Network growth climbed alongside the transaction count.

Santiment tracked 337 new MORPHO wallets created in one day. That is the strongest wallet growth since March 15, 2026.

New wallet creation often points to fresh participants entering a token, whether traders or long-term holders.

Both metrics moving together in the same window is notable. It shows heavier activity from big players paired with broader interest from new addresses.

MORPHO Exchange Outflows Reach Largest Level Since February

Exchange outflows told a similar story.

A total of 4.35 million MORPHO left exchanges in a single day. That marks the largest outflow since February 4, 2026. Santiment noted this points to lower immediate sell pressure in the near term.

Tokens moving off exchanges usually land in private wallets or cold storage. That reduces the supply readily available for quick selling. It does not guarantee price direction, but it does shift the balance of available supply.

The scale of this outflow stands out against recent months. A move this size, paired with rising whale activity, adds weight to the broader shift this week.

Listings and Funding News Fuel Morpho Activity

Several catalysts appear to be driving the surge.

Upbit added MORPHO trading against the Korean won on July 25. New exchange access in a major market often draws fresh volume and attention.

Morpho Midnight also launched fixed-rate cbBTC and USDC lending on Base. The product expands what Morpho offers beyond its existing lending markets.

Robinhood separately selected Morpho to power a new Earn product, extending the protocol’s reach into retail finance.

Morpho also raised $175 million from major names across crypto and traditional finance. Combined, these developments give the recent on-chain surge a clear backdrop of real news rather than isolated market noise.

Despite the activity, MORPHO’s price told a different story on the day.

According to CoinMarketCap, the token slipped 1.84% to $1.95 in 24 hours, underperforming a broader market that stayed slightly positive. The drop followed a post-listing pullback and a technical breakdown.

Trading volume fell 50.95%, pointing to fading momentum and thinner liquidity. The $1.90 to $1.92 range now stands as the level to watch.

A break lower risks a retest toward $1.80. A pickup in volume would be needed to signal any reversal.
