AdEx, which is a top international ad exchange platform that operates on both smart contracts and blockchain technology just made it known to the public about its exclusive collaboration with Ink –an apex travel media company in the world.
Ink is the biggest and largest travel media company in the world and its services are rendered to a wide range of airline passengers on a yearly basis. In addendum to its main services that are offered by the company to its clients, other services such as offering mobile and online experience, issuance of magazines and provision of other additional services are granted to clients.
AdEx is among the biggest and largest decentralized ad exchanges across the globe. It makes use of smart contract and blockchain technology to derive transparent interactions and communication between parties involved in advertising. Furthermore, the company partners with renowned blockchain companies and projects such as Fintech Blockchain Group, Wings, and NEO.
The collaboration between the companies will enable them to hold an auction on blockchain for ad spaces on different boarding passes. This would be the first time that an auction of this sort would ever happen. The collaboration would also be among the few times when a company that is blockchain based would enter mainstream economy. According to the CEO of Ink, Simon Leslie, Ink is very pleased and happy to be collaborating with AdEx to deliver advertisers and be involved in the media first.
AdEx will manage and control the bidding process, while Ink and the airline involved will pick the winners. According to the CEO of AdEx Network — Ivo Georgiev, the partnership between the two companies is a big step for the company as it would bridge the travel media, blockchain and advertising companies with greater opportunities for getting to their desired audiences. He further stated that companies such as Propy and eToro have made known their interest to bid for the ad places in the auction that is forthcoming. By next week, the precise results and more details of the auction would be published.
Prior to this partnership, AdEx has partnered with various top cryptocurrency related organizations. NEO was announced in August after AdEx had partnered with digital assets platform.
