Bybit Opens WSOT 2026 With 10M USDT Prize Pool
Bybit opened registration for Bybit WSOT 2026 on October 29, 2026, at 10:00 UTC. The World Series of Trading runs through December 2, 2026, with a prize pool of up to 10 million USDT. The exchange framed this edition around multi-asset and AI arenas, not crypto-only books.
Per Bybit's WSOT 2026 page, eligible traders can form or join squads. They can also compete individually and enter a Preheat Quest across five arenas. Bybit says it serves more than 80 million users worldwide. The contest sits in the same buy, sell, and trade lane retail desks watch for exchange product launches.
What Bybit WSOT 2026 Changes This Year
The 2026 theme is "The World Trades Here." Bybit is expanding the event from a crypto-only contest into a multi-asset tournament. Two new arenas join the Squad and Individual Showdowns:
- Global Assets Showdown. A Spot leaderboard covers crypto and stock spot volume. A TradFi Perps leaderboard covers perpetual contracts on stocks, gold, oil, and indices.
- AI Showdown. A P&L leaderboard ranks traders who use a Bybit AI subaccount or a general AI subaccount. Bybit AI also sits on the event page as a rules and ranking assistant.
The Preheat Quest covers New & Invite, Spot, Derivatives, TradFi, and Bybit AI. Early squad incentives include 100 USDT for leaders of the first 100 qualified squads. The first 20 TradFi squad leaders earn 500 USDT each. The first 200 qualified squad leaders earn 50 USDT each. Invite rewards also extend to squad members, not only leaders.
WSOT 2026 follows a large 2025 edition. Bybit said more than 520,000 traders joined and formed close to 1,500 squads. Guinness World Records lists 71,765 participants in a 24-hour online trading competition record tied to that run.

Bybit says prize pools can grow as total participant trading volume rises. In Squad Showdown, leaders take 20% of each squad's reward. The top 10 members share another 20%. Remaining eligible members share 60%. Individual Showdown splits traders into Lightweight, Middleweight, and Heavyweight classes.
Registration has no minimum equity floor. Ranking on P&L and P&L% leaderboards requires holding at least 100 USDT in a Unified Trading Account for five minutes. Each participant may use one main account and up to six subaccounts, including AI subaccounts. Traders may run squad and solo tracks at the same time.
Pro users, market makers, and institutional accounts are excluded. Residents of the European Economic Area and other restricted regions cannot enter. Full terms remain on Bybit's WSOT page.
Why the Multi-Asset Shift Matters
Bybit is treating a flagship retail contest as a proof point for crypto, stocks, and commodities under one account. That is a product signal as much as a prize campaign. Exchanges that hold attention across spot, TradFi perps, and AI books may keep more session volume over five weeks.
The open question is execution. Volume-linked prizes can inflate headline pools when activity is hot, then cool when it is not. Geographic and account-type limits also shrink the real field versus the marketing footprint. For traders watching stablecoin prize rails and exchange calendars, WSOT 2026 is another timed test of Bybit's multi-asset pitch through early December.
