Bitcoin ETF Inflows Hit $110M on IBIT as Ether Funds Lose $88.6M
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF inflows hit $110 million on Monday, October 26. BlackRock's IBIT supplied all of it, according to SoSoValue. Spot Ether ETFs moved the opposite way, with $88.58 million in net outflows. BlackRock sat on both sides of the tape. IBIT drew Bitcoin buyers, while its ETHA fund led Ether redemptions. The split arrives one day before the Federal Reserve's October 28 rate decision.
IBIT Alone Drives Bitcoin ETF Inflows
Farside Investors' Bitcoin ETF flow update shows IBIT recorded $110.3 million in net inflows. Every other tracked U.S. spot Bitcoin fund, including Fidelity's FBTC and Grayscale's GBTC, reported zero flows.
That brings IBIT's cumulative net inflows to $66.24 billion, per SoSoValue tallies shared on X. The fund remains the market's main channel for institutional Bitcoin demand.
Crypto Patel's tally puts the day's purchases at about 1,380 BTC. That is roughly three days of newly mined Bitcoin, according to him.
The concentration is worth noting. One issuer supplied the entire inflow. Monday's figure says more about IBIT demand than about broad appetite across the ETF market.
BlackRock's ETHA Leads Ether ETF Outflows
Spot Ether ETFs lost $88.58 million on the day. ETHA, BlackRock's Ether fund, shed $104.7 million, which Crypto Patel estimated at about 45,240 ETH.
Fidelity's FETH was the only Ether fund with inflows. It added $16.13 million, or roughly 6,970 ETH, and offset part of the ETHA exit. Farside lists every other Ether fund at zero.
BlackRock clients therefore bought about 1,380 BTC while selling about 45,240 ETH. Other altcoin ETFs were mixed. Solana funds lost $8.23 million. XRP funds lost $3.61 million, and HYPE funds lost $4.30 million. Zcash funds gained $1.96 million and NEAR funds $1.40 million.
Bitcoin and Ethereum Prices Face Different Tests
Ethereum price holds near $2,300. Outflows and soft momentum keep sellers in control. CoinMarketCap data at the time showed ETH down 0.95% over 24 hours at $2,309.58. The $2,280 to $2,300 support zone could decide the next move.
Analyst Sweep says ETH has reached its weekly bull market support band. He outlines two scenarios. One is a dip to the lower band, then a rally above $3,000. The other is a loss of support and a drop to new lows. Sweep favors the first, but that is his opinion, not a confirmed outcome.
On Bitcoin, analyst Ardi argues for accumulating pullbacks. He believes buyers are nearing the last chance to buy in the $70,000s. He also acknowledges price could trade deeper into the range. That is why he favors scaling in over a single entry. This is one analyst's view, not financial advice.
The next signals are whether Bitcoin inflows broaden beyond IBIT and whether ETHA redemptions continue after the Fed's October 28 decision. For Ether, a hold above the $2,280 zone would support Sweep's first scenario. A break below it would favor the second.
