Story Highlights
- AI Agent Trust Registry provides verifiable IDs for AI agents.
- Zero-knowledge proofs improve privacy and security in decentralized AI.
- SingularityNET and Privado ID are pushing for a more transparent AI ecosystem.
SingularityNET, a founding member of the Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) Alliance, has partnered with Privado ID to introduce a decentralized AI Agent Trust Registry. The initiative will establish verifiable onchain attestations and credentials for AI agents, establishing trust and security for decentralized artificial intelligence networks. This project combines Privado ID’s privacy-serving identity tech with SingularityNET’s AI and the ASI Innovation Stack.
With AI Agent Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs), developers are now able to develop AI agents with verifiable identity and attributes. These credentials will validate critical information such as models, authors, and audit status to build a safer and more transparent AI environment. The AI Agent Trust Registry is a breakthrough in decentralized AI. It has established a system for interoperability, accountability, and trust.
Dr. Ben Goertzel, SingularityNET and ASI CEO, pointed out that the future of AI will rest on smooth communication between AI agents. With the inclusion of Privado ID’s privacy-first credentials in ASI, Create guarantees a solid and self-reliant AI network. Likewise, Sebastian Rodriguez, CPO of Privado ID, noted that verifiable identities within AI-to-AI interactions will make accountability and trust more compelling and lower dependency on centralized control.
SingularityNET and Privado ID to Construct AI Trust Registry
The deployment of the AI Agent Trust Registry will be phased. The initial pilot will integrate Privado ID credentials with the AIRIS AI Agent, followed by a scalable registry that verifies authenticity and safety using zero-knowledge proofs. Finally, the project will develop self-governance frameworks for AI agents that provide long-term data security and interoperability.
This is where the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance starts, comprising SingularityNET, Fetch.ai, Ocean Protocol, and CUDOS. The alliance aims to create decentralized Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and Artificial Superintelligence (ASI). By doing so, it hopes to build an open and compatible AI ecosystem that benefits both machines and humans.
SingularityNET was created by Dr. Ben Goertzel to build decentralized, democratized AGI that everyone has access to. The firm pools AI experts, engineers, scientists, and industry veterans to collaborate on AI solutions across domains including robotics, biomedical AI, and finance.
Privado ID, formerly Polygon ID, is a decentralized identity system that is privacy-centric with user focus. Privado ID provides identification verifications securely via zero-knowledge proof without compromising W3C compatibility. Being under Polygon Labs’ umbrella formerly, Privado ID is now an independent organization expanding to various blockchain systems.
With SingularityNET and Privado ID at the forefront of this endeavor, they aim to redefine trust in the digital age. They seek to create an AI network that is safe for both developers and consumers. AI Agent Trust Registry represents a powerful paradigm shift in AI identity verification and security, paving the way for an open, decentralized AI future.
