Ubisoft Unveils Web3 Game Champions Tactics on Oasys

Champions Tactics is a tactical role-playing game where players form a team of mythical Champions to engage in thrilling PvP battles. They also explore the dark and mystical world of Grimoria along the way. Nicolas Pouard, VP of the Ubisoft Strategic Innovation Lab, showed enthusiasm for the initiative, stating that  At Ubisoft, our goal is to be pathfinders in delivering innovative player experiences.With Champions Tactics, we anticipate that Web3 technology will gradually fade into the background, enabling players to fully immerse themselves in the game’s excitement and strategy.

Champions Tactics centers around a collection of 75,000 Champions digital collectibles. These serve as key participants in the game’s dark fantasy world. Each Champion has unique characteristics and powers, allowing players to deliberately create their ideal team. By carefully grabbing three Champions, gamers can defeat their opponents in intense PvP matches and claim victory.

Excitement for Champions Tactics is palpable as the game’s community continues to grow. It has already surpassed 100K followers on X and 50K users on Discord. Extensive alpha and beta tests with thousands of players generated favorable results, enhancing the game’s mechanics even more.
